Doomsday for web scrapers & autoblogs?

Google Losing War With Scraper Sites, Asks For Help

Google’s Matt Cutts put the word out on Friday via Twitter: “Scrapers getting you down? Tell us about blog scrapers you see… We need datapoints for testing.”

Google’s form requires you to provide three pieces of information:

  1. The exact query that shows a scraping problem, such as a scraper outranking the original page.
  2. The URL of the original content.
  3. The URL of the scraped page.
I think I shall spend sometime reporting websites which have scraped my articles.

Panda Update makes me mad

Recently the Panda Update hit hard to affiliate marketers, I am one of them.

I am no SEO expert so I can't share anything inspirable (yet!), so I gather articles from experts...

I find this article quite good!

Beating Google's Panda Update - 5 Deadly Content Sins

URL: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/beat-google-panda

  1. Heavy Template Footprint
  2. Empty Content
  3. Overlapping and Redundant Articles
  4. High Ad Ratio
  5. Affiliate Links and Auto Generated Content
It seems that I have to make a turn on my journey of promoting products online...

It seems that simply a product review site(like mine) is getting weaker in the eyes of Google, when the panda is clever now.

The really needed Firefox Plugin: Memory Fox

My PC has only 2GB of memory, which is only OK for my daily usage.

I always run out of memory (start feeling laggy) with Firefox (10+ tabs) & Chrome (5+ tabs)

Chrome has its Task Manager, but Firefox is famous for its memory leak...

Until I find this: Memory Fox

Attempting to reduce the browser's RAM Memory usage promoting the increase of available RAM memories for other application processes RAM memory requirements. Hopefully, fostering any attempts of Memory Recovery and Retention.
Just install it! It supports Firefox 6 and 7 too!

    6 SEO common mistakes

A good read from the guys over at SEOMoz which covers 6 keyword research mistakes:
    1. You're being unrealistic
    2. You're looking at broad match rather than exact match
    3. You're targeting plural instead of singular
    4. You're ignoring conversion
    5. You're selecting keywords that are out of context
    6. You're failing to conduct keyword reviews

I think I need to go back into my sandbox and brainstorm...
